Parental Consent.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
The consent a parent gives for a child’s participation — stated explicitly, revocable at any time.
This form is how a parent or legal guardian consents to a child taking part in Start Young CEO. It is written to be read. It is the formal counterpart of the plain-language promises in our Family AI Charter; the Privacy Policy explains the data details.
A. Who this consent covers
- Parent/guardian full name
- Account email
- Child's first name
- Child's age
- Tier
- School/partner code (if any)
B. What I consent to (required for participation)
- Program participation. My child may take part in SYC's cohort program: live Build Sprint classes, monthly build missions with mentor feedback, quarterly Demo Days within the cohort, and the CEO Weekend kickoff.
- A supervised Campus account. SYC may create a Campus account for my child — student email, files, boards, and a showcase page visible to their cohort by default.
- Guided AI missions. My child may use My AI Co-Founder's structured missions (Idea Sparker and the LIQ Pitch Coach). I understand there is no open chat; sessions are logged and processed by SYC's AI provider (currently Anthropic's Claude API) under contractual safeguards; and I will receive a recap email after every session. I switch this feature on — and I can switch it off at any time without affecting the rest of the membership.
- Data. SYC may process my child's personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Service communications. SYC may email me progress updates, LIQ reports, schedules, and session recaps. These are service messages, not marketing.
C. Optional permissions — each one is my separate choice (default is NO)
- Public showcase. My child's showcase page and work may be visible beyond their cohort on SYC's website.
- Event media. Photos or video of my child at Demo Days or CEO Weekends may be used in SYC's own marketing — never sold, never passed to third parties.
D. My rights
I can withdraw any consent on this form at any time by writing to [email protected], and SYC will act on it promptly. The permissions in Section B are needed for the program itself to continue; the permissions in Section C can be withdrawn freely with no effect on the membership. I can review my child's data, ask for its deletion, and refuse further collection. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already lawfully happened.
E. My confirmations
- I am this child's parent or legal guardian, and I am at least 18 years old.
- I have read the Privacy Policy and the Family AI Charter.
- The information I have given on this form is accurate.
F. How this consent is given
This consent is given electronically by the paying parent at checkout and confirmed via the link SYC emails to the account address. SYC keeps a record of when and how consent was given.
